A: Amazon is voluntarily recalling certain Amazon Basics Foam Eurotop mattresses. The mattresses violate the mandatory federal flammability regulations for mattresses, posing a fire hazard and risk of serious injury or death to consumers.

Q: Is this recall being conducted at the CPSC’s request?
A: Amazon is voluntarily recalling Amazon Basics Foam Eurotop mattresses in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).

Q: Have there been any injuries?
A: There have been no injuries reported.

Q: How can I tell if the product I purchased is affected?
A: This recall involves the 9" Amazon Basics Foam Eurotop Mattresses sold in Twin, Full, Queen, and King sizes. They were manufactured between December 22, 2022 through May 16, 2024. The manufacture date in MM/DD/YYYY format; SKU number ABFM0933, ABFM0946, ABFM0950 or ABFM0966; and prototype ID: 1131 40 00 1 appear on a white label located on the center seam of the foot panel.

Q: What is the company doing as a remedy?
A: Impacted consumers may follow the instructions on this page for a full refund.

Q: What should I do?
A: Consumers are asked to confirm impact using the manufacturing date and SKU, write “Recalled” on the top of the mattress with a permanent marker, submit a photo of the marked mattress, and certify disposal. Upon receipt of the photo and certification of disposal, consumers will be issued a full refund to a valid payment method in the consumer’s Amazon wallet or in the form of an Amazon gift card. The recalled mattresses should be disposed of in accordance with local laws.

A: If you still have this product, stop using the recalled mattress immediately and follow Amazon’s instructions for a full refund.

Q: I received the mattress as a gift or purchased it second hand. Can I still receive a refund?
A: Only the original purchaser of the product is eligible for a refund.
